Construction Notes: Thick book-matched rosewood veneer inside and out over solid wood. Finished rosewood back. Iconic brushed nickel "T" handles, squared legs, and indented horizontal detail to the base are all halmarks of Finn Juhl's "Diplomat" office furniture series.

Marked with round metal France & Son tag and John Stuart disc label.

Features original IMF metal property tag to rear. This is an interesting point of interest as the IMF offices in Washington, DC were originally outfitted in this series by Juhl. Many of the employees, valuing their office furniture, took pieces home with them when they retired or moved on.
